I’m a fan of costumed water skiing. Not only is it fun, but it also plays into my “smoke and mirrors” technique for skiing.
Here’s my previous post on costumed water skiing that explains the whole evolution. With more pics and links to related content.

While researching this post I ran across a Texas group doing a costumed ski day for Halloween, so I thought it would be fun to try it too.
It was a great time for all, great conditions for riding, and 4 photographers on hand to catch all the action.
Wayne Wilms and the regular crew anchored the event while RJ Flake from Wakesports in Orange County, CA bought out a second boat and demo equipment for anyone to test. Thanks to everyone who made this day a success, and let’s do it again next year!
